Just a couple of days on a w@rk related jolly to the DAF factory. In Eindhoven tonight ahead of a factory tour & museum tour tomorrow, then onto Amsterdam tomorrow night ahead of a Heineken factory tour on Thursday.
Finished factory tour, no photos allowed inside plant, impressive seeing the whole start to finish process that went into making our trucks. They produce 200 a day here in Eindhoven, another 70 a day in Leyland.

Lovely place - Zouterwoude Rijndijk that is, not "de Heineke" - but I bet it's changed enormously. Anyway, enjoy the trip. Tot zo.
Terrific photos, Billy! Enjoy that Heineken factory tour, too. I'm assuming they have samples of the product?!
I wouldn’t have thought so, two stroke diesels, whilst providing lots of torque, are horrendously inefficient in terms of emissions and as far as I know are only used in heavy earth moving equipment.
The factory tour will be at the Nassaukade plant in Amsterdam, Adie. That's where the original brewery is situated.
It was the original factory in the centre of Amsterdam, no longer produces beer, more of a museum, TBH I wouldn’t recommend it as an attraction, but you did get a couple of beers at the end of the tour.
Had a spliff last night, first time since being in my teens, I can confirm that it was indeed the good stuff, hell of a lot stronger than the stuff we had back then!
Very nice Billy, thanks for posting the pictures sight seeing and trucks; but where are the pics of the babes in the windows?
Great pics, Billy! I've never been to Amsterdam but these photos you posted make me want to go there someday.
Hoping to get a trip to the Netherlands in October or November this year. Probably won't take the bike this time though.
Rode over there a few years back. The 'Kashmir Lounge' quickly became our preferred hangout I thought we were heading out for a ruby, but that ain't how it was at all! Would defo recommend. DS
Yes it’s a lovely City, would have liked a bit more time to explore, but it was a working trip after all
By accident I can assure you . Bloody lively area though, some guy asked if we wanted to come into his bar to see shome pushies, well what a con, not a tabby or a ginger Tom in sight!
