Happy Friday all! Back at work this week, and as its Friday I find myself reminiscing on my August Bank Holiday week when I managed to get the bike up to the 'outlaws' in Wakefield and enjoy a grand few days out. I had a fantastic day in the dales, some fun in the moors and a scenic bimble in the peaks. Even the weather was kind for every ride! I thought I would share a few of the pics... These were the last long days out I will enjoy this year I think as the weather is turning more autumnal. I have definitely hung up my all weather riding boots but will try get some fun in when I can. I may be a little sad but I am quite looking forward to the BIG pre-winter clean down... It has been a great year with the old girl, she has looked after me and I hope to do the same for her! Have a great Friday. Safe riding! Cheers!
Pete you must be one of the most patient people there is, you’ve had loads of issues and don’t seem to be fazed by anything. Good on you mate
Cheers Glyn mate, i have nothing but praise for my dealer, all i can say is I'm really not happy with my bike, its a catch 22 for me, i love everything about the rs, nothing comes close to the look and feel of it..... all that aside I'm finding it hard now to maintain ownership of it, its been very problematic
Thanks bud, I've no doubt she'll get sorted but its just case of whats gunna go wrong next.... if ya know what i mean hahaha Well at least I'm the only one this has happened too and i was home so it could of been worse, i could of been 7km away from home
Long story. My missus followed us in my van with her bike (Triumph Bobber) in the back. She didn’t want to do the whole ride but we stayed for two nights on three occasions so she could do a circular route with us back to the digs. We did it over nine days but you could do it at a fairly leisurely pace over five days. My mate did it in two days with one stop over on an SV650 Gled.
No I haven’t been to Jasper yet. One day I will ride there. It’s about a 12 hour ride from where I live. I’m on Vancouver Island BC, which is as west as you can get in Canada. There are some epic roads on the way to Jasper. A stop in Banff on the way would be very nice as well. I have yet to experience most of what BC has to offer, on a motorcycle.
