I have to say the previous owner bought alot of the shiney bit but didnt finish it off ,so i set too added a few bits of my own and a bit of spit and polish.......it takes ages to clean but worth it , Thanks for all the nice comments makes it all worth it Cheers :upyeah:
just gotta get some of the smaller crash bars ,then theres not alot left LOL ,just bought a 19t front sproket which should improve fuel lower the revs a bit
I can get about about 170-180 out of a tank before the light starts flashing, which by my reckoning is about 60-65mpg. Any better than that and you'll be riding an Enfield!
lol what don't u fancy a nice Enfield.......... a diesel one lots of mpg and 50mph with the wind at your back wayhey !
I have been tempted..... look even better, & slower, with a chair fitted! I seem to have developed a rather unhealthy fascination with sidecars of late. Quick somebody give me a good slapping!
A chair .......parker knoll with a wheel LOL , have u ever driven an outfit it is different and a bit scary to start with
Never, like Trikes (which IMO, look ridiculous) they are in fact the worst of both worlds, slower than a car, but open to the elements. Chairs don't much like turning either, preferring to go straight on when you're trying to get 'em to to go left & right. But it has to be the right bike to fit a chair, to give it a proper retro look. I've seen a Hayabusa & a ZRX1200 with chairs attached, what's that all about? That's just bonkers.
Alway amazed my the outfits at the IOM TT some really weird and pretty good ones, have been there and got the badge but not for me,i did try a sidewinder once on a honda superdream lasted 15 mins couldn't get my head around the leaning it when it shouldn't
I remember the sidewinder, it was introduced as a way of getting RD250 owners around the new (at the time) 125cc learner laws, pretty weird piece of kit. Fortunately I passed me test on a 250 suzuki.
I once built a scaled down sidecar chassis for a mini-Moto for a guy called Paul Sinclair, he mounted a scaled down hearse body on it and used it for publicity for his Motorcycle Funeral business; it was rideable if you were quite little. He also has the land speed record for his Hyabusa motorcycle hearse
