Traded in my 1200GS a couple of weeks ago for a new Speed Twin. Best thing I've ever done! The ST feels about half the weight and more than twice the fun. Already up to 1000 miles which shows how much I'm liking it

Hi Too hot, I’m over in Dundee. I had my GS for 2 years and although I thought it was a brilliant bike that did everything very well I always felt there was something missing. Once I started thinking about changing I went to Shirlaws in Aberdeen and had a test ride on a Thruxton R and immediately realised what it was that I’d been missing. It was the big grin on my face
