Smilinjacks it over brexit ..has a ring to it .... Sorry to see him go, he never did like hanging around
Will that not remind you of former life at w*rk? Look forward to seeing some photos when you get the deal done.
I've unwatched that thread. Just pisses me off, so why take part. Should have known better than try to fight with pigs, they enjoy it, and you both get covered in shite
Every few weeks I go in and have a look , to me it seems like the same argument 30 pages further but nothing changed ... much like the real world of Brexit!
Do you have to delete the posts, or canst just alter the user title to ex-member or something. Might save ferking a load of threads up. Whatever his reasons for leaving, I wish him well.
The Brexit thread should be scrapped. Especially if I’m pissed, I feel partially responsible for Smilinjack leaving. Sorry bud.
Things change and evolve. Just the nature of things. If it stayed the same, we'd just get bored and wander off.
I'm still here @Bad Billy just been doing work and other (family ) things. I was hoping to meet up again with Smilinjack to get some ideas from his extensive trips and experiences but hey ho and I wish him all the best. As @Glyn Phillips said maybe posting when pissed isn't the best thing but I'm sure we all do it, mine might be obvious sometimes but generally I feel there is no hard feelings meant or taken and we all act grown up (most of the time ). Brexit...... nope not entering that thread as it doesn't interest me one bit and any mention of a democracy is twisted by the powers that be to suit their own agenda anyway so whats the point..... No thanks!
Phew glad to hear you're still about @Eldon Was wondering if it was gonna be like some Triumph Forum version of the Final Destination films, but it was the Cadwell 5 that were disappearing & meeting a gruesome end! .... I know, I know, maybe I should leave the blue smarties alone!
Well maybe there is a breathalyser login device that stops you getting into the Forum when pissed , Nah! scrub that, there wouldn't be anyone on here half the time!
Only just found this. A sad loss, never met him but clearly intelligent, well traveled and worth reading. Mick Eng input also greatly missed, both of them had so much to offer the forum. Curly
Ha! Wish I could click "like", "agree", and "funny" on your post, Billy. I try not to drink and post but I coincidently seem to be imbibing while on the forum so that doesn't always work out. I used to be bad about drinking and online shopping but being semi-retired, I don't have the cash for that dangerous form of shopping. Besides, I'd rather spend the money on what I'm drinking (e.g., Redbreast Irish Whiskey!) than what I'm shopping for (shoes?) . Sigh......
As crazy as this world has become, I think we all need break from it from time to time. British politics seem like they are as wacko as American politics. I stay far away from it (then you get rocks throw your way for not taking a side). I am a religious man, but that has it's place. And this is not that place. If I melt down, just delete my post. I'll be back on my meds tomorrow . ...J.D.
