The original handlebars are shit both in looks and comfort. Done a 7 hr ride once and could hardly walk when I got off, changing the bars angles your body slieghtly forward enough so your sat more on your butt rather than on your coccyx.
Don't do it! I own a 900 and have had it from new. Me and me missus have been all over the world on ours having owned it from new. I rode the T120 the other day and when I got off my wife said "what do you think ? " I had nothing to say. It was a character less machine. Well I thought so and that's how it compares. If you had never owned a 900 it would probably be fine. Salesmen describe the 900 T bird as a skimmer. Almost sold before it's rolled onto the sales floor.
