Just got back after a weekend away. 600kms of lovely riding plus some of the finest food and wines I've ever had !!!!
My mates finally back on 2 wheels after 25 years - bought himself a Sprint for £750.00 - bit rough around the edges (the bike not him) and needs some TLC but should be OK. First ride out together yesterday evening to Loomies (yes I know it was shut but the trips a good 'un from Winchester). Coffee from the garage next door and enjoyed the unexpected car show opposite at The Meon Hut pub.
Back in the Triumph fold ... started this thread back in 2013!! just put a deposit on a 2010 blue and white Bonny. if all goes to plan I will post a couple of pics soon. this is my 6th Triumph. only keep 1 at a time though. The wife not up yet so as she has no idea of bike change I could be making breakfast before I tell her of the bike change... Nice to be back.
Came home from work and my Powerbronze screen Dark tint was waiting for me (only ordered on Monday evening), So naturally I had to fit it. I'm very pleased with it and in my opinion the bike looks better with the screen on, im yet to see if the wind blast is reduced, in 5ft8 so i think it will make life a lot easier while riding - at the national speed limit.
The clamps look good too! Looking forward to your opinion on it as that's the one I'm going to try if it makes a difference.
Thanks, the ride to work was alot easier, im really impressed with its wind deflection at 90.....i mean 70mph Its SE factory paint. Not seen another like it on the roads yet.
Thats the good thing about being in London at stupid o'clock....you'll get nice pics of your bike with no one getting in the way
Hey JayJay, my paint job is the same, but for the 2010 se, with the round headlights... One of my very few videos on youtube
Hi Red, Interesting Video, good editing! That's a very nice looking bike you have there, I particularly like the paint job! Mine feels somewhat less special now lol but hey ho. I always knew there were others like it out there, somewhere.
Well, if I come across you in the streets of London, I will be sure to about turn, we don't want to be seen wearing the same outfit! To be honest, I haven't come across the same two tone paint job yet and quite intrigued to see your bike here. The only time I have seen another in the flesh was when I bought the bike in Oxford, the dealer had two in stock of which I bought one. They truly are special though, and I constantly get thumbs up from other bikers, including riders of other beautiful Italian super sports bikes, I haven't seen any other bike out there though that I would prefer to ride. RT
I agree. I havent had my speedy long and this is my 1st Triumph but, I can honestly say, "I can see myself growing old with this one"
