Rather than Scotland (pop 5,438,000 in 2018) leave the union because it's too remote, not understood or represented by London (pop 8,787,892 in 2018) could we all agree that London will leave and the rest of us can have a party?

It would be better for the Scots to not remain in the EU as their 5m votes won't count for nowt against the 507million other voters all wanting their countries stuff done in preference to Scotlands issues/priorities.

    Just a thought...

Oh - and I like camping (glamping).

    ;):)

Started at the Mallard pub in Seaham, County Durham, then had a break at the Eden Arms near Newton Aycliffe, then onto the Help for heroes recovery centre at Catterick garrison in Richmond to make a donation and headed back to the Mallard for beer and bands.

Took my bike along to a local garage to get the new Angel GT11s fitted for the Spanish tour next month with @andyc1  ,be interesting to see how it compares to the original GTs, it will be 3200 miles (5150kms) but I'm hoping there will still be a fair bit of life left in them when I get home
took a photo of the new sculpture in Blairgowrie you will see it if you take the A93 from Perth

Try 270/280 klms and putting 19 litres in a 19 litre tank ! Ran out as I was pulling into the fuel pump , and this was in NW WA town of Port Headland . I was on my trip to Darwin , towing a camper trailer IMG_20190602_114606.jpg

Here in Doon Doon WA just short of the state border. Best picture of bike and trailer I have on phone.

    Cheers Capt

Today I rode my Speedmaster to the local petrol station to fill up... That's all I did with it, bike wouldn't start afterwards, powered off immediately I pressed the starter button. :( This also happened a couple of weeks ago, and then whilst checking fuses it had sprang back into life, so I'd put it down to loose/dodgy fuse connection. No such luck this time, tried reseating and replacing fuses but no sign of life when turning ignition on. At least the dealer could get a van to come and pick bike up in the time it took to have coffee and cake with my mate who had come out to help.

If I'm counting right, this is the 5th problem in the 13 months I've had the bike (but the first time I've been stranded). I'm now getting worried how many more they'll be, and if they'll all happen before the warranty runs out...

Start a thread and give all the symptoms. Between the guys on here, there is more expertise, than some dealer.

Bad luck mate, I had mine for 12 months with no problems, so there is something very wrong with your bike?

ECU is temperamental when the battery in below 12volts, do you have it on charge when not in use?
I found my USB port drew current after being away for only 4 days, and had similar issue, so disconnect the plug or put on charger.
    Best of luck @brown mouse

Good suggestion, but as dealer already has bike, and it should be a warranty job, I'll wait until they say what it was first.

Bike is not on charge when not in use, but I ride it once or twice a week for several hours at a time, so I would expect that's more than enough to keep things charged. I did check the battery voltage before ringing dealer, and it read 12.8V.

    Thanks

As mentioned on previous threads, It's best to connect the bike to an Optimate 4, as any bike with an alarm fitted will drain the battery when the bike is not in use.

As far as I know the ignition needs at least 11.5 volts to fire up.
If your battery isn't great you'll get all sorts of odd crap like this.
