Uhmmmmm ..... you know I said earlier that you're a "craftsman"? Well, what I REALLY meant, and should have said, was that you are an artisan. You take the craft of motorcycle restoration to a wholly different level.

You'll have to excuse me - I'm going back into that darkened room ...... I need a much stronger incantation routine. :worried:

Well the tank and mudguards are at the pinstripers and the horrible job of painting the rechromed badges can't be put off any longer as i will need them in the next day or so.

Put another coat on the tank badges and fitted the finished paintwork on the bike, well that's it another little 500 restored for Su to ride and i can start my 66 T120.

Very nice as always over or under stripes lacquer that is ? I was pleased with my over , Simon Used a eurethane on mine which if honest wasn’t too pleased with the paint that is , it left what looked like dust / tiny bubbles which I think were a tiny reaction , showed mainly under fluorescent light but as I struggled to get hold of him after dropped front guard I went with local chap who was good also who went over the top using enamel and was please with the result . On holiday for a few weeks now on push bike , hopefully I will have a number plate when I return. . Keep up the excellent work . I am like you no good with numbers or righting

I sometimes wish you didn't put those pictures up - that's another pair of strides ruined by an involuntary release ...........

And, back in that darkened room, the incantations continue ..... (and it isn't nam myoho renge kyo!)
