I have a 2012 T/Bird 1600 with Mustang 2 piece touring seats which are very comfortable but due to an ongoing back problem, does anyone know if a backrest can be fitted to the riders sear and if so, suppliers etc. I have emailed Mustang in the states but not as yet had a reply

If you can find one then this is the Triumph part number I believe :cool:
    A9708158

Edit: I think you would need the Triumph Longhaul seat as well ;);)

Thanks for the help, I wasn't trying to be offensive, just trying to explore options

If you were to sell the Mustang seat you have now and buy the one with the back rest would it set you back much more than buying a separate back rest?

That may well be an option, I shall see if I get a response from Mustang and then make a decision

Sorry, I must be reading this wrong.
For Driver, I had to order from Mustang, for rider I added Triumph removable back rest/sissy bar.
Driver seat has a little flap with Velcro closure for when you insert/remove backrest.
    Good luck!
