Hi all For those that know, I have been trying to relocate to Northumberland from the Midlands for the last year or so, 2 sales fallen through but it seems the third may finally be happening. Now to the point of this post, I may need to vacate my property early and put my gear into store for a month but I need to sort the bikes out so does anyone know of a decent (reasonably priced) storage facility where my bikes would be safe in the Northumberland area so I can get the bikes (a Speedmaster and a Striple) transported? I know there are threads on here about transport companies but recommendations would also be welcomed here. Long shot but if you don't ask...
I used a lock stock room in Newcastle once for a month. Will send address later if that suits. It was secure and cheap next to Post Office main sorting office.
We’ve got storage containers for hire where I work all covered by cameras Lot of locals and business users Will ask about them for you Newcastle....very close to Newcastle Triumph
Do you know when you’re gonna need storage End of September I will have an empty garage at my house Free of charge I live in Washington about 10mls south of Newcastle
Current buyers want to complete before the 15th September so around that time for a few weeks until my purchase completes so hopefully a maximum of 4 weeks.
I’m at a rally in Hull the weekend of the 15th Then when I get back it’ll take me a week to turn NUDGER back to standard and hopefully Newcastle Triumph will take him off my hands That’ll leave me an empty garage until I get my ROCKET 3R So if this fits for you mate you’re more than welcome to use my garage to store your two bikes
That is very kind of you I will get back to you once I know what is happening. My solicitor is trying to get us over the line and has asked the buyers to delay by 2 weeks. I am currently looking at contingency if I have to move out.
