As the title, dropped my speed after a long day riding in london, made it back home 60 miles away and 5 miles from home filling up on a banked station tipped over to the right. Minor scratches but enough to piss me off.

Anyone know where I can get an end cap for a lowboy? 15646867445386713592306730179003.jpg 15646867938035157769500375138941.jpg

That's got to be so annoying. Glad it's not any worse though. As we always seem to say herein, "It'll polish out!" A drop of paint may be handy as well.
But your pride? Now that's a whole new ball game!:worried:

The lever is fine. And yes thank god nothing noree than some scratches! I usually get off to the left but the pump was on that side and just wanted to pay, didn't realise how much of a slope there was.

Pride and adrenaline helped me pick it up straight away!!

Thanks for the sentiment guys guessing a few have done the same

Most of us have been there at some time in our biking career, so don't be too hard on yourself. Still f#kin annoying though.
Few years back wife's bike fell over in garage, I was 2mtr away with back to it when I heard the crash, so wasn't my fault (honest). I might have been the last one to put it on side stand (badly).

Agree with every thing the peeps are saying. I know how you must feel but again like the peeps have said most of us have done the same. I will ask my boy about the can I think on his underseat titanium system Arrow supplied him with end cap and baffle.
    Regards
    Joe.

    Much appreciated Joe!

Think having a disloacted knee doesn't help with the top heavy speed..maybe its time for a change

Only you can answer that one Mate. But don't beat your self up over it. If I were to tell you some of the stupid boo boo's I Have made you would wet your self laughing. But why don't you just test some machine that grabs your fancy. Never know you might fall in love all over again. Also it would get you a great smile again. Like I and the bro's have said we all been there and we all bounced back. Do Take Care of your self.
    Kind Regards
    Joe.

Glad you are okay Moe, just injured pride.

I wouldn't rush to change your bike because of it.. I think you can drop almost any bike given the wrong/right set of circumstances. I might think differently if you couldn't have picked the bike up again.

Hard luck mate, it is fecking annoying when this happens, we have all done something similar at one time or another, I would think Arrow would supply a new end cap if you contacted them, but damage not too bad really.

Spoke to the boy and he couldn't remember where but said they do have a supplier in the UK. He also said his tail cap for the underseat was almost £200 pounds as it was the carbon item. He is going to have a look to see if he kept the receipt but with my boy I don't hold my breath he's as scatter brained as they come.
    Regards
    Joe.

Totally agree with you there, its been niggling in the back of my mind to get something else, no idea why just has, and now after this its pushing more to at least have a look at options.

A very capable if a little bland motorcycle, I rode my mates 2018 model, personally it didn't inspire me, I prefer a little more character, he must have thought the same as he only had it 9 month before going back to the Aprilia Tuono V4.
If you haven't already done so, get a test on the Street 765 RS, it really isn't that much slower than it's big brother but is a bloody hoot to ride, it is also lighter & more manoeuvrable, if you can get past not having the biggest engine boasting rights it is a fantastic bike.
