Tucker and Lisa. Home safe thank you all for a great time great food great company. How long till we start talking about next year's GMU as @Ron Ashurst Wants to come . Love you all Tucker and Lisa
Home safe and washing the German thingy, andy Pandy had an accident with a jar of yellow stuff splattered all inside his top box but blamed it on me as he said originally it poured out of the sandwich I made him this morning!!
Got home a bit back. Had a nice ride down through the Dales with Eric. Thank you Ron for all your effort in organising this years GMU and to all of you that ate the food that James, Myself, Lynne, Di and Dave produced and also to John T for the Beer & BBQ. Edit: And I suppose I should mention Dilli who provided this years cabaret(again)
Arrived home just before 17:00 Good ride down with a mixture of motorway, a roads and the usual m25 carpark. Great seeing you all again and huge thanks to the workers, chefs and the rideout chief.
...Great weekend, superb organisation as usual, fabulous food and beverages, so big shout out to MrO, Sprinter, AndyPandy, the Jaffas and Mr & Mrs JT. But the biggest shout out goes to our traveling road crew for bodging my bike back to a rideable state - we've a vacancy for a technician at Woburn, I'll put a word in. Who do I need to post the spanner back to?
Pissed rain from the ferry to Carlow the further i got the worse it got and extremely windy to boot. Arrived home looking like i fell in the river . . Covered just over 1000 miles since leaving home on wednesday. Thanks Andy c for the escort through Belfast . Thanks everybody else for a great GMU.
Hi Rich, glad you made it home safely. Don't worry too much about the spanner, I'm sure it's a bit bent after Rocker hammered it into place with that stone!
I just thought.... I wasn't using one of your expensive 2nd hand sat navs to get home so of course i done less mileage
Put it this way if I’d used my Satnav it would have only taken 3 hours to get to Bellendjam and not the 6+ hours it took us to get to there following you Like I said to @steve lovatt ”I’m sure we’ve passed that cyclist twice” but he said I was wrong “It was three times that we’d passed him” You should have stuck with the Garmin Crispey old lad,it works a treat
