Home safe and sound at 12:10. Bit of rain going over Shap on the M6 as usual. Great to meet up with old friends and to meet a few new ones. Thanks to everyone who organised yet another great GMU.

Won't be home proper until 3rd August but made it to Yarm by 11.00 and met up with some new biker mates for coffee.

Arrived home at 11.15 having left at 5.45 in order to get home for an appointment (someone viewing Sally’s Mazda MX5) at 1 o clock. Received a text at 12.45 stating that he’s no longer coming ffs Time wasting bar steward Thanks to everybody for a great weekend. Particularly the chefs, but also Rich for providing me with a very brief but intensive off road training course. Hope you got home safe Rich

They were very friendly Yorkshire lads because they thought you would buy them a coffee. But when they found out that you were from Yorkshire they soon realised that they’d not be getting a free coffee and they turned their backs on you
