Sounds like a great idea! Looking forward to seeing your pics when you're done.

If you have a dog, Repooh, here's another excuse to buy that Dremel you've been eyeing. It works great to file down your pooch's toenails! Just don't use the same head that you might use for metal bits. ;)

I like the look of a tidy, but i sometimes get caught in inclement weather and don't like a rooster tail up my back.

Don't you think @Dozers Dad that the black bonneville looks sweet?

It's not mine and I've shown the pic before but I just think that bike looks good in so many ways.

Looks terrific, Repooh! :grinning: That's a cool helmet, too. Is it a new Shoei model?

Indeedy, Shoei Ex-Zero, like an open face with chin guard, has a drop down visor, super comfy, great view. I have a Shoei RYD (called something else in the US) for cold days and long trips but the Ex-Zero is my fav

Cool! Thanks for the info, Repooh! I'll have to check out this model. I have an RF-1200 which I like a lot. I'm a fan of Shoei's. I wonder if the Ex-Zero is called something else in the US too because I haven't seen it or heard of it.

Hey, Helmut Visor, thanks! I just now did a quick google search too. I see the helmet but can't seem to find any vendors that sell it that are actually based in the U.S. I've purchased from European companies before but find it interesting that, for example, a big online retailer like Revzilla doesn't carry it. Neither does :scream: Amazon! The search continues, kinda like treasure hunting! ;)

Old fart here, but I prefer my tail tidy to the stock mudguard.
I think it works better with the cast wheel models - wouldn't have done it with my T100 though. (However, I did put the shorter SE guard on).
Still have the original mudguard with Lucas rear light so can change back if I want or if I sell the bike.

    Old git here! :)

Neat little Barnett(?) stainless mount from W&W Cycles in Germany.

    Old school Lucas rear light.

Would probably need a slightly longer mudguard, though.
