GLWTS Phil. She’ll make someone a very happy bunny, but as Joe says, let’s just hope whoever buys her will appreciate her and preserve her in such great condition :)

The kitchen is fine I'm sure. Maybe buy a new microwave but keep your bike!

That is so tempting but a divorce would be even costlier

That's so true and I am sure we all were there at one time or another. When my boy was alive we needed to change our windows as they were drafty and he suffered from Cystic Fibroses. You know I racked my brain trying to find a way to get the job done but in the end had to sell my Firebird 650. Not for one moment did it take persistence over my son's health but I just felt if only I had saved some or wasn't such an idiot I could have kept the bike aswel. I still miss that bike. Not half as much as I miss my Son but if I could go back I'd do things differently and save as I do now not just blow every penny I used to earn. Your bike is a fantastic piece of British history and it will put a great smile on someone's face. And I don't think you could come and see it without loving it. Good luck with the sale and enjoy the new kitchen. Just done ours and its pretty good the contraptions they include these days.
    Regards
    Joe.
