Last film you watched.....

I watched that yesterday - a bit disappointing compaired to the series, TBH.

 

The Kid, a well acted Western with Ethan Hawke.

I love Westerns me.

 

Great ... proper films ! Watched 'Home at Seven' with Ralf Richardson. Filmed 1952.

 

Agreed! Watched the Titfield Thunderbolt the other day too.

I like Ealing films, Launders and Gilliat made some really good ones

 

"The Dirt" - about Motley Cru. Good film about a band in the 70's to 2015.

 

Just enjoyed watching Avengers Endgame, Thor's let himself go a bit.

Personally I only made it about 25 minutes in, before it got turned off.
What a bag-of-shite.

 

That was the stunts without the CGI .I watched the film through.
The thing is I cant remember the last time I was surprised by a plot so its difficult to connect to movies these days, when after 5 minutes you know whats going to happen. Hollywood doesnt help, with their refusal to have anything but a happy ending.

I know I'm late to the party - but purchased box set of Sons of Anarchy. Found my latest addiction. As I said - late to the party on this one..

 

Have tried to watch SOA three times
Just can’t get into it

 

The first series is hard to get into, the story lines are completely unbelievable, you find yourself shouting bollox at the telly, but if you treat it as pure fantasy & get into the characters then it is a very good series.

 

SOA translates into Dutch as STD...

 

We are just starting series 6 now, been watching on netflix for the past month or so. Storylines are a bit up and down but for us it is compulsive viewing.

 

Once you get to know characters - this takes over your t.v. Enjoy
