Had to cut short the trip due to commitments, the others are still touring. Drop a note here when you're back home safe and sound. It was a bit of a haul yesterday, all the way from Ullapool to Newcastle, but smooth sailing fortunately, and not too wet. Back in Holland in one piece. 2060 kilometres, 1287 miles.
Home safe and sound, big thanks to everyone for making it a great trip . Just home in time to watch the motogp...I'll wash the bike later..
Back in Kent safe. 419.8 miles. Thanks for welcome and the great company... and @Dougie D - many thanks again - awesome awesome week... the rides, the organisation, the scenery and the people !!!
Got home a few hours ago. Had some torrential rain on the M74 but also had a few dry spells on the M6/M61/M60 so arrived home not too wet. MESSAGE FOR KEN You left your Scotch Egg at the hotel, but don't worry I brought it home with me and it's safe in the garage, i'll bring it up to the GMU for you.
Still a few to check in, looks and sounds like you have all had a great trip. Only five days now for my trip to Northern Ireland; can't wait..
Phew! Was v worried i’d have to break the news to my kids that Nemo had been killed and turned into a tacky key ring. So he’s just really into bikes? Can’t blame him. How does he ride? Do you drop him in the ‘tank’?
Me and Waspy are home safe and sound. It was a nice crossing, especially after a couple of ciders. 1430 miles covered (that’s 2300kms to us Europeans). I’d just like to thank Dougie for organizing a brilliant week for us. It was awesome meeting new faces and seeing old friends. Scenery was gobsmackingly fantastic. Till the GMU
