Where Are You Going This Year?

This coming weekend is the last Tenten Treffen by Zedelgem Moto Touring Club in Loppem near Brugge in Belgium and the Fosse Riders are going on Thursday, The next European trip is the FIM Rally in Denmark at Roskilde at the end of July and "Meritum" members have a "Rendez-vous at Tiefensee immediately proceeding.

Any forum members going to any of these events?

 

Where am I going this year? Looking at my finances, at a guess, to hell in a hand basket!

Circular tour of France early July on the Tbird....back via Belgium.
Two trips to S Wales then N Devon n June.
Home to Dunbar Scotland in September.
Belgium in December for the St Nicks Treffen.
Some on the bird some on the Tiger 955i...not decided which yet.

That's 119056 klms and 292•7 klms for the day on one tank, 17•6 litres to fill up, not bad for two up towing a camper ! Now in Roebuck just outside of Broome WA.
Where to the rest of the Year ? Depends if we survived this run to the Northern Territory !!

 

Switzerland beginning of August. Ride all the passes and have some chocolate.

Me and the missus are off to climb the national three peaks in a couple o weeks. Riding over to Wales camping up and doing Snowden. Then over to the lakes for scarfell pike then up norfff to do Ben nevis.

 

Off to Isle of Man next Tuesday, then South of France a week after getting back from IOM.

 

Just got back from IOM and off to North of Scotland in a few weeks to finish off the NC500.
The journey last year got cut short at Ullapool when my missus fell off her bike and broke her shoulder

 

Hmmm...now if only we could blend all these venues into one super large itinerary......

I tell you what that's one hell of an idea .....

 

Wow, Scotland, France, Spain, Australia... what great trips. Me, I'm taking my new Speedmaster from California to Michigan on as many back roads as possible, and yes I'm carrying extra gas. It's a bucket list thing. Wife not thrilled but won't say no, she doesn't ride. Get out and RIDE!!!

 

Seems like the norm is being mad, so I guess I must be there. Just to prove it I'm off to Northern Ireland on Sunday...
