    Hello,

I'm french please excuse me I use Google translation lol

I've been reading you for a long time

    I encounter a dilemma.
I want to do a little more noise with my Speed RS

I want to remove the 2 baffles, the tube and the small disk with the hole of 5mm. However this is irreversible. If I make too much noise I can not go back and I do not want to put a screw ...

I would like to put a SC Project but it is absolutely necessary to remake a mapping of the ECU? Or simply reset the ECU what I read on the forum with 12min enough?

    Thanking you.

Google did a good job - all your questions make sense. :)

Removing the small disk (with the 5mm hole) is irreversible, but you won't want to go back - it's a subtle improvement. Removing the baffles can be reversed, but if you've decided that you don't want to fit a nut for a retaining bolt, then your only option is an aftermarket exhaust.

Many members haven't felt it necessary to remap after fitting an aftermarket exhaust - if your bike feels OK to you and you're happy with the performance, then the 12 minute reset adaption will settle the idle and you're good to go.

You won't know whether it's running lean or not unless you put the bike on a dyno, so I guess that's your only dilemma - and something you'll have to decide yourself.

Does anyone know the details around what the 12 minute reset actually does?
Is it just idle stabilisation or is there any further map adjustment /fuelling changes made as a result.
Just curious as I am thinking I should do it on mine now the exhaust is fitted and I have a few hundred miles on the clock!

RSReggie have you received your pipe yet, and if so, what are your thoughts? I'm with you on this one, I prefer this look to the shorty...but you seem to be a trail blazer, the first I've learned about to go this way...great work!

SC is delayed with production, I received an e-mail from them earlier this week. They plan on send it at the end of this week, hopefully they do it today.
I will post a few words when I have tested it.
I will not do a dyno run with as I think the bike acts great with the stock mapping and I don’t miss any power (maybe in the future though...)

    Hello,

I come back to write on the forum to share my experience.

I'm French, I finally ordered the exhaust Sc-Project S1 because I did not want to permanently modify the arrow exhaust

I ordered Friday morning 24/05, package sent Friday afternoon. Received today 28/05
Conclusion: SUPER FAST! Milan Italy => Metz France, 4 days

I will try to mount it today

    I'll keep you informed

Huge bummer. I ordered the SC1-R exhaust two weeks ago now, was hoping to have it sometime this week but sounds like next week or the following is more realistic since I'm across the big blue puddle.

The S1 has been released for a while now so I'm sure they've had them on the shelf. They just released the SC1-R but I had hoped they'd have a few in inventory before spreading the word

I installed the Sc project S1

For the moment I'm a little mixed because the pots Arrow were big, so it's a big "empty" especially that I remove the rear feet supports
I think I will put the support back to fill the "hole"

Regarding the bike, we feel that it is lighter. It is slightly higher, I'll have to adjust the suspensions.

The idle of the bike is not very stable but it may be due to the fact that the bike was cold? I will reset the ECU with the "12min" as I read on the forum. I hope his will fix the idle of the bike

The sound with the DB Killer is perfect, neither too loud nor too light
I did not test without DB Killer, its must be too noisy lol

(I hope I make myself understood I use google translation lol)

No I think I will not do a Dynamo test
I'm still going to find out what price it costs

    Google translate is working fine.

Can we have some photos please? I am thinking along the same lines. It will be interesting to see how the fuelling settles down !

    Merci.

Google translate is doing a great job :)

Nice to hear you are happy with the sound of the can. I have the same can and have not noticed any idle instability. I did the 12 min. procedure immediately after assembly.

The empty space where the Arrows used to be is what makes the bike even more beautiful, IMO. It makes the bike look more racier. Take a look at the rear on the new Ducati V4R, it has som similarities with the speed with the SC can.

Don´t hesitate to post som pictures of your new toy. I can't get enough visual impressions of this beautiful bike :)

Unfortunately it has not yet arrived. I'm going to check in with the local vendor next week

Here’s a new reason for keeping that aftermarket exhaust in the box:

'Acoustic cameras' tested in bid to cut noisy vehicles https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-48564995

Edit: This wasn't supposed to be funny o_O:weary_face: :pensive:
