    Hi all,

Never thought I would buy a Triumph in all honesty, my Dad's a big fan but I have always been more into my Hondas and Kwaks. I've got to say though I am really loving this bike. A bargain too I think at £800. Needs a touch where she's been dropped however and soon due the 36k service, I'm not sure what that entails yet but will be scouring the forums for info.

So post 2004. Whats the mileage? Always make sure your battery is fully charged to protect the sprag.

The bike was running a little rough at low rev's, felt like either under or over fuelling.

I updated the ECU with Tune ECU and and a modded file from the website, runs like a dream now.

    Yeah it's a 2000, just over 34000 miles.
Thanks for the tip. Could you explain please?

Looked it up, starter clutch :). Cheers

What tune did you use? The Julian tune seems to be a favourite from what I’ve heard

Worth getting an uprated battery with more CCA if you haven’t already got one, as it spins over faster and will protect the sprag from damage. I’ve just bought a 16.5Ah Motobatt with 240A

Nice ride. I've had my 96 Sprint for 23 years now. 50K miles and still is loads of fun riding. Will admit got a 06 K1200S BMW last summer and split riding between the two, more time on beemer though. Had Sprint out last weekend and it's still got it. IMG_2256.JPG
