It’s two together to get a good grip, and wood supports so the crankcase face doesn’t get marked.

If it's any help, these indicators are available from www.scooterandbikes.co.uk and, according to their listings, are the same as those for a Yamaha YBR125 ('05-'06), all for £11.99, long and short stem and are a good match to the originals. They take a bit of finding on their website though.
The company seem to get a few mixed reviews, but mine came through with no problem (the stem somehow broke on mine - no idea how or why! Plastic fatigue??o_O).

Speed RS being serviced today, so I've got a 1200 XE Scrambler to play on.
Initial impressions, nice handling bike, not top heavy like the Tiger Sport or 1200 Explorer.
Brakes feel a bit soft but I think that's down to the long travel suspension.
    Like the speedo.

Made the most of a lovely evening, cracked open a beer and gave mine a really good deep clean and polish, looks too good to ride now!

This evening fitted Vickers silencers from Feked.com, and then out for a quick test ride. They sound great, nice deep tone without being stupidly loud, and much improved throttle response... I'm happy :D

Well, not too much today. Just covered the first 1,000 klms of our trip to Darwin. In Leinster for two days, will post some pictures when we get some better internet connection will try post some pictures. Bike and trailer all good, getting between 15•5 and 18 KLM litre, if I push it hard fuel economy drops, traveling at 80kph or so im getting 18 klK litre, add 20 kph so 100 kph and I lose nearly 3 KLM litre.
We are only doing 300 klms or so a day. It's more tiring than I remembered towing !?!? But it has been eight or nine years since I did a trip like this.
Departure date got delayed, because my rear shockies couldn't handle the weight. So had to revert back to previous ikons and re-bush them , took four days for bushes to arrive from Albury NSW.
Will try to post a picture or two later today. And post updates on our trip every few days (internet connection depending) .

    Cheers Mick aka capt

I have an action camera mounted on the right hand front fork leg, going to video parts of the road trips, will have to watch them when I get home and edit out the boring bits, post links here to the bits worth a watch , as there are now 3 hour's worth of ride saved to our laptop.
We saw two Wedge Tailed Eagles the other day but don't know if the camera was recording , I hope it was as they were awesome to see, we got to within 10 metres before they both had taken Off.

    Cheers Mick

Yesterday got the liners back in, head on (that was a squeeze) cams in and timed up, throttle bodies back on and a few other bits.
Hopefully a bit more progress today :)

Never done a triumph before, but done quite a few engines in the past.
I’ve got a 600 Fazer to rebuild soon too, a cheap second bike for the missus.
