I did it! I got a Triumph, and I love it! I bought a 2018 Tiger 1200 XRx but the Triumph Canada website seems... well a bit shit ! I have some luggage questions, hoping someone can help. Having come from the R1200GS, I ride with and without bags, and on the GS there's no ugly frame when you take off the bags. It appears that there's a recent push from Triumph toward the Explorer Aluminium luggage, which requires a frame. Previous years had the Adventure luggage which looked like it would fit without a frame.... I'm hoping that someone here has some advice (short of "suck it up princess") for putting luggage on this gorgeous machine, without spoiling the look when they are off!
The top box will fit with the correct mounting plate and I take the ugly scaffolding tubes off mine when I’m not using the side boxes. Cheers Phil
