This is interesting. I have been considering getting a chrome headlight and having the mounts chromed, this would be cheaper. How durable is it?

 Not sure what you’re getting at here mate?
Anyway it doesn’t come in chrome :(
As for durability this is the first time I’ve used it so don’t know yet
It’s actually like a rubberised coating that can be just peeled off when you want :)
I guess it would offer some extra protection but think it’s more of a temporary colour change more than anything else :)

    Mmmmmm shiny!

Thought I saw a chrome looking one, but it was the before pic on a satin metal spray....

Anyway, I am not a total chromo, I just want a shiny headlight and maybe mirrors, honest!

I believe you can also get something called Glossifier, a coating that gives the black a shiny gloss look instead of the matt finish.

    Nope :)
It’s holding up really well :)
I’ve took these off and back on a few times now to fit different things on and off the bike and so far it’s still looking good

Do just clean as normal with soapy water?

Haven’t used soapy water but I cleaned and polished NUDGER yesterday and it was ok :)
If anything it seems more robust than when it was first applied :)

Hello, I just plasti dipped a few things on my speedmaster and for me it works out well. It doesn't last forever but that's ok. Plasti dip says it will at least last for 3 years.... you can easely wash and wax light. No polish and don't let the wax stay to long bscause it will eat the plasti dip away. It's easy to peel of but if not than use brake cleaner and a cloth. I didn't use a finish yet since I couldn't get one in Holland. I just ordered another brand of finish and will see if that works.
I did all the lights and the chrome battery clip.
