Am not into cruiser bikes at all but looking at yours i may have changed my mind. Well done and welcome
Cheers chum, 2 months ago I was of the same opinion, a GSer for 22yrs, then I test rode the Speedy. Fell in love with the engine, riding position, comfort the handling, what can I say!
May have to get a test ride. But am only allowed 2 bike max, so the XJR may/ will have to go if i like them
I see you already got a warm welcome, but ey, what can I say, it does make sense when you introduce yourself with such a coooool bike love it!
Welcome! Purchased my Speedmaster a few months ago. I loaned it to Corbin Seat so they can make a standard solo seat for the SM. They had it for 5 weeks and since it's 70 degrees outside I'm getting itchy fingers to get my hands back on it. I'll let everyone know when the seat is available and take some pictures.
Great pic of a beautiful bike DB! I'm aiming to get a Bobber Black in a couple of years but might be tempted by a Speedmaster
I have searched for a follow-up to this post and can not find one. Did you get your Corbin solo seat and if you did can we get a photo and review. I start my next big trip in 7 weeks and MUST address my seat comfort issues. Thanks, Ned
Yes, I did receive the Corbin seat and love it so far. I like the optional backrest but even without the backrest it's better than the stock seat. I'm planning a 5,000 mile trip in July so I know what you mean by the seat issue. Picture below. I have not seen the seat on the Corbin website yet, still finalizing production. I am waiting for the matching pillion.
I just got off the phone with Corbin. Your seat is sooooo new the rep I talked to said there is no single seat for our bike. Hard to get one when they deny making it. Ned P.S. Talk about a coincidence. She just called back and it is now on the website.
