I do not have an enclosed garage, but a two car carport. It is open on 2 sides. I am protected against the rain and I also keep my Scrambler covered when not in use. This works well for me and I live in a humid environment, although nothing like ya'll in the U.K.

Thanks for that Repooh. Love the thought of saving myself £796! Getting a tank painted is expensive isn't it?

Tanks not too bad Surrey Customs quoted me £4-500 pounds for simple single/double colour, can spend thousands if you go all pin stripey, arty skulls etc, 8Ball quoted a bit less but they're up norf

Should be fine, only complication with handlebars is if you start getting into changing brake hoses, etc. Tail tidy on my 865 was a doddle but I got the plug and play fit because I don't do electrics.

As I have learnt over and over don't force anything.

You will be fine Mate. Just take your time and look at what you are doing. Eight Ball do a lot of the Triumph paint work. Mention and you might be able to squeeze a bit of discount.
    Regards
    Joe.

Hi Holtee and welcome to the forum :)

If you’ve no weather protection for which ever bike you buy then that would be the first thing I would spent my cash on.

Thanks Tiglet. I have asked my mates Nan if she wants to rent her garage to me. If not I'll get one of those Ride Hide covers and some ACF50.

I'VE done a few mods to my speed triple, but by far the best was the most unfashionable......a centre stand....

The first thing is that either wheel can easily be removed,no need for paddock stands, vary easy to lube and adjust chain.
Nice and stable for cleaning and maintenance ( oil changes are now a doddle).
More stable when parking....the list goes on, l think all bikes should have them as standard.
