Well wouldn't you know it. Got my 59er Bonnie all ready to go. Sorned the Honda and it bloody well gets cold. Went to work last night and yes there they were up and down the road stupid gritters. Wasn't even anything more than a light frost. Now I got to get out there and wash and clean the bike. I am going to write a letter of complaint to old Mother Nature. Ride Safe Joe.
If you put it up on here we could probably make it a petition ............................................
Bloody weather! Was in shorts on Monday but come yesterday and the first Bike Night meet up and I end up riding through a hailstorm followed by pissing rain. Freezing cold 'cos I really needed winter gloves again. Rode home in pissing cold rain and now the Bonneville is filthy. Good news - the Merlin waxed jacket is waterproof!
Here I am at the second bike night of the week. Bloody weather - I am the only one here! Fair weather riders!
Adie P. Got to do something. My 59 beauty was mining took me ages getting all that salt of. Now I had to buy another can of ac50 all because mother nature decided she was going to ruin my parade. But some blame I suppose I could throw at the local authority as I didn't see any frost at all. Ride Safe Joe.
Steve Lovatt. But you must admit the tiger looks really good there all on its lonesome. And good on you. Ride Safe Joe.
Aint it a pure *unt when you change to the thin duvet, turn off the heating timer and get out the summer bike gear!! and it feckin SNOWS?
Wishbone Yes I know all about it. My bike was filthy salt everywhere. I had to go round it about three times just to make sure and I was shivering whilst doing it so bloody cold. I don't know how long the ACF50 lasts as I washed and polished to put it back on the road. But hopefully it's clean again and good polish tomorrow. Regards Joe.
The advantage of being the only bike there (almost - 3 more turned up) is that you win Bike of the Night! Free breakfast for me then!
When it was warm recently the central heating came on when switched off (hot water only). It was bloody boiling when you woke up on a morning. I replaced the diverter valve control head and problem solved. Next day it turns a cold snap and house is feekin freezing.
