Hi Dilli. Been reading your other thread with the similar pics. I posted earlier that I had put my rocket in for a new speed master and expressed my concerns. But I’m pleased to say I’m now thoroughly enjoying my time with my speedmaster. I will still hold a hankering for the iconic rocket, but I will have to say that, that’s a beaut. It looks so, can I say, sleek??
I love the way your mate has added that seat, never seen that type, and the colour just works. It has a lovely profile, looks like a slimmed down rocket, very nice indeed. As it happens, when I was buying mine it was the blue and off white with the gold pin stripe, I looked into the colour combos from triumph and the colour of your mates bike was the one that sold least, not much demand at the time (don’t know why), but now, as rare as rocking horse dung!
By the way the jacket suits you!!!

Rode the tatty trophy to Rutland Water Cafe to meet up with 7 or 8 Ulysses GB members for a coffee and pasty, then back to home town to verify an Ariel Arrow rebuild for age related number plate. That is going to be real smart bike when it's finished. 23.3.19 ebay + 029.JPG

Thanks Dilli, they definitely look great and I have lusted after a set for a while but was worried they may be to short as other ovals have been. Back on my wish list. Managed to get some cool foot boards, not too big and better for my instep than pegs

    Hi Billy
My mate will be pleased with your assessment of his Rocket :)
I sent him a couple of links to the forum so hopefully he’ll see it :)
So glad that you’re getting on better with your Speedmaster as they are lovely bikes and it was always gonna be a bit of an adjustment after the Rocket
Have to say that when we swapped back to our own bikes I was glad to be back on NUDGER :) I felt instantly at home :) and me and NUDGER just fit together
Equally my mate Mark was glad to be back on his Rocket but he’s 6ft3 and is about 19stone  so he makes it look like a bonnie:joy:

    Very nice.
Do you have all the parts to complete the rebuild or is it a picture taken with parts removed.

Your such a tease DCS as your original post stating what the prize is was at 10.00 am and now 05.20 hours later you post that I can still claim my prize within 05.00 hours.
It’s a pity you didn’t post the 5 hours time limit within 5 hours and not 5.20 hours :p
