And I really love riding this bike. I just got about 200 miles on it now due to snow and ice and really love it so far. The bar end mirrors were installed over the weekend and what a difference they make in rear visibility. The power is so smooth and effortless as is the handling. Not sure how much I will do to this as I really like it stock and I don't feel the need for more power. I got it up to interstate speeds this afternoon, and boy is there a lot of wind hitting me at 70 MPH! Will definitely be keeping my Road Glide Special for long distance and highway runs.

    Hi Zinc
Enjoy your bike. I was thinking about your thoughts regarding modifications and was reflecting on the fact that after a dozen Jap bikes to which I did nothing to alter them that I can’t stop tinkering with my T120. So far Hagon rear shocks, TEC progressive fork springs, Booster Plug, mirror risers, Scott chain oiler and soon to be fitted Motone X pipe. I’ve come to the conclusion that the stock bike whilst very good these changes enhance the bike and its ride. As to whether the money is well spent, that’s a different matter but I have enjoyed getting my spanner out. All the best and ride safe. Mark

I think you are right Dartplayer get to know the bike first but you know that feeling when you get an itch and you just have to scratch it......might be because I’ve got obsessed with my bike. All the best.

Part of the reason I wish to leave the Bonnie mostly stock is the fact that I put stupid money into My Road Glide. I totally agree as my Road Glide is a testament to how modifications can take a stock motorcycle and enhance it in so many ways. The suspension alone on the Harley, mated with custom rims, brakes, handlebars, etc have made it much better in the twisty road dances (for a 900 lb bike, anyway). For now, I'm gonna ride the T120 and see where I need to change things while trying to give my wallet a break. :)

Thanks, and exactly! Test ride told me I needed the bar end mirrors. For now, I'm gonna ride the T120 and see where I need to change things while trying to give my wallet a break. After only 200 miles, maybe the seat and risers for the handlebars - but time will let me know for sure. Just don't plan to go overboard as I did with the other bike.

I have a small screen fitted which deals with the wind problem at speeds of 60mph plus. I have tried it with and without, the difference is very noticeable and it is now a permanent fixture. Last week I did some prolonged stretches of 100 - 112 mph and it was fine. It would be impossible without the screen.

Beautiful bike. That screen looks like either a Triumph one or the Dart Marlin, but I believe I see Triumph logo on it. Is that a factory accessory?

I don't know I am afraid. The bike had one previous owner (for a few months) who fitted the screen.

  21. Interesting you said that about throwing money at it. I’m in that position now, it started just like you with the mirrors(annoying looking at my shoulders) then suspension was a recommended upgrade. I’m not personally keen on the tangerines on stalks and so it continues
