Gutted to be selling my 2003 Speedy. This bike is in mint condition and has covered under 4000 miles from new. It has the following factory - fitted from new:-
    Custom Paint PFKL1189859
    Tank Pad PFKL1190893
    High Level Exhaust
    Carbon Can
    Datatool System 3 Alarm
    Belly Pan PFKL1189446
    Radiator Cowlings PFKL1190970
    Fly Screen PFKL1190944
    Axle Cover Kit PFKL1188340
    Seat Cowling PFKL1189367
It will also be sold with:-
    Tank Bag PFKL1187111
    Tank Bag Harness PFKL1187134
    Tank Bag Bracket PFKL1191208
    Rear Seat Pad
It's bog-standard aside from a set of polished stainless steel engine bolts. It was serviced last year at Lings Triumph and had 3 x new coil packs fitted at a cost of over £500 - aside from that, it's been well-maintained and has never had any issues whatsoever.
I bought the bike from a close friend in 2012 but unfortunately, I've suffered a back injury and now struggle to ride it.
It has had the factory recall work done (replacement fuel pump fitting) and the only thing it could do with is a new set of tyres - the originals have loads of tread but have started to age. I have no accurate idea on what it's worth, but it has to be the best available of this model and looking at others for sale, has got to be worth £3500?
This bike is a genuine, well-cared for, immaculate example of the year and I really would like to see it go to someone that appreciates it as much as I have!

Admin - please remove this post if it contravenes any rules

Please give your 'expert' thoughts on the bike and the price it's advertised for and PM if you're interested or need any further info!

    Cheers,

    Andy

That is such a beautiful bike Andy, sorry to hear that it has to go because of an injury, but I’m sure it’s going to fetch a good price in that condition. Good luck with your back and the sale.

That's a well looked after bike. Look how clean the linkages are. Shame you're having to sell it.

That's a cracking looking bike,16 years old and only 4000 miles on the clock, that's only 250 miles a year ..it's not even run in yet, such a shame you are unable to ride it.£3500 seems a lot for a 16 year old bike but considering the mileage and the condition maybe it's not

Sorry to hear about your back. If I had the money I would take you prize machine off your hands straight away. I do hope you get better soon and find a machine that suits your back.
    Regards
    Joe

Five years time £3500 will seem a bargain, these are an emerging classic, most have been crashed and trashed, if I had the space I’d pay £3500 for it, doubt you’d find another that good.

Thanks for all the positive comments lads - It really is as described and the reason for sale is genuine - I still love to ride it when I get the chance but can only do (relatively) short distances and unfortunately, I pay for it the following day!
Absolutely love Triumphs and the triple engine and If I do sell the speed Triple, I'm gonna go for a Tiger Sport - heard it's a speed triple on stilts (sounds ideal!) :)

There are shocks out there that could sort you speed triple. But suppose its money wasted if it doesn't work. Wish I knew something to repair backs. I even feel it these days when I go longer journeys. Bloody Bummer this getting older.
    Regards
    Joe.

Thanks mate - the Speed Triple was picked up yesterday and the guy was delighted with it.Taking the Tiger Sport out tomorrow, I'm sure I'll love it and I'm sure it'll be a bit easier on the back!
