    Any advise would be helpful.

Just bought a ragged 06 speed triple and am about to start my project. Can anyone recommend an engine stand that will fit the bike so I can strip the engine

    Cheers

Fantastic kit and you can strip the bike down to its frame

i was in a similar position and have messed around with stands etc. Went on Clive Woods engine course and he just uses a home made table. Using old or spare fence posts etc. Ive just made one for my engine and its miles better than the stands ive tried.

Now it’s not as pretty as Clive’s but sturdy and as he said you can get all around easily and manoeuvre engine easily.

Fair play, looks like it does the job, I need to repaint mine so was looking to be able to support it in the air so to speak, but this looks like something I could knock up

I made an adapter plate to make it fit a car engine stand and whilst I could turn it I was never happy with the amount of weight on one side of the engine. When stationary it was fine but never felt ‘secure’. Now it cannot move unless I move it, job done!
