So Who Picked Up A New Bike On 1st March

I admit it. I got a new bike on 1st March. Well new to me so does that count?? Oh and my first car back in 1983 was a 1965 Morris Mini 850. It ran on crossplies (remember them) and had a gearlever as long as my arm. Literally! Great fun that car!

 

Definitely counts! Me too, but I bought it yesterday on the 2 March!

How long did it stay that colour before you painted it Black

 

They are a wild bike, I sold my RRR Urban Tiger last year and I’ve been waiting for while to pick up the right early RRN or RRP, this one is superb and I had to pay strong money for it, but there are not many out there this good.

Bump..... Well this all very interesting about your cars and new old bikes, but what about all of the forum members that have had delivered their brand new bikes this March. Can't believe there have been none !

Well I was going to change my Tiger for a new one but decided not to bother in the end. Does that count?

 

Almost Steve. So why the change of mind?

 

I was all set to mate and I've test ridden the new one. I like the TFT dash, as it's clearly visible in all light conditions, but apart from that the bike is essentially the same. To get a matching spec to my current one would have cost around £1300.00 over what I paid for mine originally so not that keen. Will probably keep this one another year and then buy a low mileage replacement new model.

 

You wouldn’t have spoiled the new bike with panniers would you
