Hello there Bristol, welcome to the forum. I know it's not the same bike but I have bar-ends on my bike and they work MUCH better than the originals.

I bought these off Ebay UK for peanuts three years ago and they have been faultless.

Hi big lad, do they add much on width of bars? Certainly look better than stems out the top of bars.

Any idea where's the best place to get them? Seem quite pricey where I've looked.

Had bar end mirrors on my Street and now got them on my Speed.
Love them,if you a bit...ahem! "wider" their better as you can see more than your elbows.
I've got the CRG L/S round ones.
You can get Chinese knock off ones(Triumph or CRG) on e bay.

Not quite ready to admit I'm " wider", but opinions do vary lol. Standard mirrors seem fine but left hand stem is rusting and wanted to alter the look of the bike and bar ends make a huge difference.

They also give the bars a cleaner look.

Hi and welcome - have Halcyon bar end mirrors on my Bonneville - visibility is much better and you can fold them in when filtering. Some people turn them down so they sit below the bars.

Hi Eric, can't remember exactly but something like £2 plus £5 postage - from Hong Kong of course.

I just did a search for bar end mirrors on the Bay of E and found them there. Be careful as there are loads of sellers with EXACTLY the same product but at wildly different prices !

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&ghostText&_sacat=0&_nkw=motorcycle bar end mirrors&_dcat=49899&rt=nc&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo&_udhi=10.

I of course found the cheapest  but they still work perfectly.

Just one other thing, check the size of your bars - there appear to be two std. sizes : 7/8th" and 1". Mine of course were the bigger 1" bars. Yorkshire man see.

    Dave

PS Just one other thing. I didn't use the expanding plug fixing that came with the mirrors, as my bars have a welded-in, threaded flange within the bars. So I used the Allen screw that normally holds the bars end cap in place, and with that I was able to fix the new mirrors in place, no fuss no muss.
