A different gas mix or the element is a different metal oxide mix. Which can produce more light from a smaller source !
Just place LED instead. Lasts longer, looks stunning and (personally thinking) brightens the world! Just google it, info is out there! http://www.ulightcn.com/product/402.html
Not true. The Philips bulbs generate a brighter light from the same wattage by using a different metal alloy in the filament and a different gas mix in the bulb. I think that they also run slighly cooler than a standard H4, but that could just be my poor memory and I can't be bothered looking it up. It's also partly why they are more expensive too - but that could just be that they vcan get away with charging more. I've been running them in the exploder for the last 2 years (and 16k miles) with no issues.
Yep and that’s the type of light that when sitting in traffic on the way to work, blinds you to everything that’s on the road, not more visible just a green everything for a couple of seconds
You know you can setup the direction of the beam, right? FYI, it’s the same with al lot of cars (here in holland) which are trying to reflect the moon, same story... just adjust it!
It’s not a case of accidental incorrect beam direction. Some riders and I haven’t a clue why, think travelling with high intensity massive area light beam that dazzles anyone who looks at it makes them more visible.
