Not sure about the ohlins. I can't see any accessory upgrade options either. I'd be tempted to swap over the Ohlins from my Street Twin. But as they stand I like to firm ride of the Speed2. The small tank means a fill up every 100 miles or so, so forces stretch breaks on long rides. I seriously need to get sell three of my bikes to buy one of these.

Hi Ade, original thought was that I would keep it making three in the garage, but I got a really good trade on my speedmaster, so sadly it had to go.......

One of my bugbears with a lot of the current Triumph range
The Tiger was about the only option, for me, with a decent tank range...

Got to take one out on test. I was more interested in its handling than seeing what it would do, especially being a brand new bike. Very impressed with both despite keeping it at running in speeds . Will take it out again when the engines had a few hundred miles under its belt, but I’m pretty convinced I need one of these in the garage.
However If some of the £3,500 lost trading my T120 against a Speed Twin was actually spent on the T120 it would be possible to end up with something rather special instead.

Seems a good time to buy a T120, looks like there might be a few around to choose from.

Think you'll be ok... weather forecast says rain arriving in the evening (hope I haven't now jinxed it). Nothing like the feeling of picking up a brand new bike. Enjoy!

I have my bike in for a service tomorrow and reckon I'll be well jealous seeing everyone pick up their brand new bikes.

I agree. Once you pay a certain amount, I expect the bike to be sorted, especially the suspension. It has the same good looks of the Kawasaki 900, Great, standard motorcycle! I know they are not for everyone, but I love them.

Hobbo - how long did you have to wait for your Speed Twin? Interested to know the lead time.

Ok, I just couldn't stop myself and have pulled the trigger and ordered today. Dealer estimates an April delivery, so hopefully not too long to wait. Went with just a few extras....V&H pipes, heated grips and the headlight bezel.

You won’t regret it I’m sure
I went with heated grips, alloy chain guard, and the headlamp bezel (quality piece of kit)

It sounds pretty good with the standard cans in my opinion, I was quite surprised. Think I’m going to go down the decat x pipe route, It should let a bit more character through even with standard pipes I hope

    Here’s a few pics
