Just a few pics of the Daily Rider whilst the other Trophy undergoes a rebuild, had the wheels powder coated as they were getting a little scabby makes a bit of a difference from the factory black.
Thanks @DD Thought you might like that, just need to sort the pair for the BRG beast in Subaru Gold now as I think that needs a bit of a lift too.
Thanks for the kind words, its a work in progress, trying to keep it clean this end of the year is a constant battle as I'm sure you all know.
OldYam. Cracking machine. Ireland was built for Bikes. You know if God rode a Bike he'd be Irish. Regards Joe.
Thanks Joe I love it over here, won't ever be moving back for anything especially as I'm in the most scenic part of the country, Co. Donegal Regards Nigel
OldYam Lovely Donegal beautiful Ireland Home of my Fathers. One of these days I'll come home and we can ride the coast road together. Regards jOE.
Can't seem to post these in the Gallery, but, a few pics of the Mk 1 & Mk 2 Trophys together before the Mk 2 comes in for a service including finishing off the valve clearances I started in March. Then the Mk 1 becomes the daily rider for a while.
That would be a difficult choice, the Mk 2 is more practical at present with the luggage and more upright seating position, but, the Mk 1 has a character all of its own with the different riding position, unfortunately its not rideable for long distances at my age in my condition. The Mk 1 is an enjoyable ride though for the length of time I can manage it, arthritis & sciatica are a bitch.
Was in Donegal a few yers back. Toured round after going to NW200. Indeed a stunning country. Beaches out of this world. Many people still speak Gaelic as a first language. Smell of burning peat. Drove for over an hour once and never saw another person. Bit of a shock coming from London. Lucky man.
