I went to Daytona a few years ago, unfortunately not while bike week was on, there was a Triumph Dealer there, I've still got a couple of tee shirts I bought from them. Enjoy yourself and please take loads of photos while you're there and share them on here.
Although I've been there many times, it never really gets old being around so many motorcycles. My goal is to make it to Sturgis this year though, I've never been. I'll certainly take plenty of pictures and post them.
I'm going on a business trip next week to a place that is currently 6* F and windy and snowing. Want to switch jobs? LOL
Daytona Bike Week and Sturgis are on my bucket list. Fingers crossed I'll get over your side of The Pond for at least one of them.
Live in eastern South Dakota, still remember my 1999 trip to Daytona bike week and really long to get back to it again. Is still one of my top 5 all time favorite long distance trips. Living in SD I've been to Sturgis two dozen times over 40+ years of riding. My personnel preference is to go to the Black Hills before rally in June/July for a long weekend of craving in the twisty mountain roads. My best roads to ride include Iron Mountain Road, Needles Highway, Custer State Park Loop, Spearfish Canyon, Vanknocker Canyon, Highway 385 just to name a few. Just finished digging out from our most recent snow storm, damn I wish spring was in sight.......got serious cabin fever and want to ride again. Have a great time this year.
