Hi welcome and we are all nice on this forum ;) I do believe Triumph do recommend a re-map with the Arrow high level cans. I recently put an Arrow end can on my Tiger and the re-map came free with the massively overpriced Triumph option exhaust!

    Hi Richard
Got the cans from world of triumph at what I thought was a bargain £420
After spending the last few months looking at loads of diff' end cans, most say no need for a re-map
So not sure what to do !

True many exhaust manufactures do say you don't need a re map, when I owned my 2011 Speed Triple I did enquire with my dealer about a pair of the Triumph option list Arrow exhausts but like you say they were bloody expensive. My dealer (Pidcock Nottingham) did advise a remap to gain any increase in performance which only amounted to 2 or 3 BHP. A re map may slightly increase fuel consumption; it has on the Tiger but only when you ride it hard.
Not heard any horror stories of not doing the re-map and there are some home use remapping software out there like tune ecu but other members may be better schooled on how that works.

Probably not critical but it might run a bit smoother.
If you get your dealer to do you'll get any ecu updates as well.

If they are new cans you may find a tiny spot weld on the nut holding the baffles in, think mine had a torx screw and so long as you have the correct good fitting bit and a decent screw driver you should be able to crack it. (dealer didn't want to do it for me)

With the baffle out on mine it sounds good but the noise gets a bit tedious on longer runs and I have to stick the baffle back in..... then its a little too quite

As for the tick-over speed, there is a black plastic knurled knob on the left hand side of the engine to adjust it. Important as you need that engine braking.
