Been riding since 15 years old, had a '66 BSA 650 Lightning, a '75 Trident and about 30 others but for the last 10 years have been on a 800lb cruiser. Decided it's time to get back to what hooked me on motorcycling in the first place, something smaller, lighter, better handling, and fun. Just scored a 2014 Thruxton with under 1000 miles on the clock and several upgrades. Figured this is the place to learn all I can about my new "little" bike.

That’s a nice bike you’ve got yourself... back to what got us into biking is always a winner so you’ll have lots of fun...after I passed my test I had a 57 BSA Roadrocket... never forgotten the thrill of riding that.

Welcome to the Family fantastic pictures they will go down a storm on here. That colour seems to pacify the inmates. Helps Nursey administer the meds.
