comparison of b4 and after with Hilltop software instaled, make some good gains below 7,000rpm. Untitled by Bryan Haynes, on Flickr
my bad print out should have given the game away after feed back from people who have used the postal service
What's the feedback on the postal service Sam? I'd abandoned that idea in favour of a 6 hour round trip, on the basis that Hilltop told me that the result would be 96% of what they could achieve with the entire bike, coupled with my reluctance to put the ECU in the post. I'm planning on getting it done in the Spring.
Been out on mountain bike all day, its not my bike I found it on YouTube and thought it would be good info for RS owners on here.
Bryan, have you spoken to Russ at TorqueTune in North Notts post code: NG22 9YU Mob:07976 961 442 He is very good sand as a consequence always busy, set my XS650 Flat tracker up, worth talking too, just tell him Leslie Saint recommended him Set my carbs up and just completely changed the ride
How does about 40nm of torque at 3000 rpm to more than 60 grab you? I'm viewing on my phone so can't be more accurate . The bottom end gains are massive, the top end less so, but still good .
All the emission and noise bullshit that screws up the AFR is in lower part of the rev range, the top end on most bikes seems to be ok. Noise tests are done at about 4rpm and they run them rich there as it makes the exhaust a bit quieter. Look how bad it is below 4! Untitled by Bryan Haynes, on Flickr
That will feel feckin gorgeous on the road, pick up from a closed throttle is very much improved after the Hilltop treatment. I’m tempted to find a local dyno and see what I’m getting at the back wheel as I used the post in service and it’s not been on the rollers at all. That torque jump from 2000 to 2500 rpm is just insane.
Sam I just used the post office, recorded and signed for. No worries at all. Make sure the value of the package is suitable to allow you to buy a replacement Ecu if yours goes missing.
