I'd forgotten that there's also the matt/gloss option too...so for me of course, it has to be gloss/plain.

I'm with you on the battery cover too - it needs to stay white to match the tank :yum

Probably keep it to put back on when I sell it, plus new one white is £200, or I need to buy and get it painted, and don’t know if I want to spend that much to change it.
There are a few carbon ones on eBay at the moment.

I'm just getting started with the carbon too! New carbon exhaust and heel plates, hugger and front mudguard next on the list.

o_O Not for me I'm afraid Bryan.

Looking at the pictures of the pre-2016 bikes...there wasn't much (any?) carbon as standard...so you can go your own way - gloss, plain, twill, matt.

    So many choices :)

got a few carbon bits on mine heel guards rear hugger ,but the thing that really is annoying me is that Triumph give you a lovely carbon front guard and leave the side pieces gash plastic ,where dis you get the infills from

My 2012 R has the carbon side panels as standard, I ordered the carbon mudguard from Conquest Carbon , they also sell the side panels in carbon.

Did you change the battery cover from carbon to white or did you buy it like that?

You know it’s a Translogic unit, meant to have best software, but I don’t know if it’s Triumphs or Translogic they use.
I tried the factory ones on the S1000R and Superduke 1290 R and loved them,

Wary of fitting one to my 2012 as gearbox not designed for it.

I'm planning on doing it to mine as the carbon one don't look right, makes the tank look small.
