it's been pretty mild up here for a while now,the roads were a bit damp though and the back roads were mucky, other than that it was good to get out on the bike for a while
What’s really killing me is, I’ve never ridden a Speed Triple. I’ve owned my 2016 Steet for two years and loved it, but wanted more torque on highway rides. I don’t think I’ve taken too big of a leap of faith buying the Speed RS. The only “slight” down side I see is that the speed is a little heavier. Anyway sorry for the off topic post.
Yup. Trade offs there, so a little better on highway with less torque down low. Lots of ways to go for sure with that route, but not what I wat to do.
It's winter, even here in SoCal. Still, a bit of snow off in the distance does not deter... Cheers, Cowboy
Hi, Since its snowy awful and having a lot of PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome), I'm posting some pics from autum. Lots of great pics to look at here, thanks
Pssst! I think some of you may wish to argue you case against BB3 Lions at below post #324... just saying https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/new-girl-in-town.15336/page-17
Ok, ok... I got caught op in the moment and forgot to stop to take a picture.. but thought about it when I got home..
They are easy to remove. Just use some fishing line and pull it down between the fork and reflector. You can pull it back and forth like a sawing action which makes it a little easier. After that use your thumb and roll the adhesive off the fork. Use WD40 to clean it up after your done. That’s it.
I just pulled mine off then cleaned of the glue with a scraper and solvent. The forks are anodised which is a pretty robust finish - just use solvent which are safe with Aluminum .
Follow Steve’s advice. Use nothing sharp. I pulled mine off with bare hands and followed Steve’s WD40 trick. The forks are anodized so don’t sweat it.
