I went to pay the deposit on the "R" today, delivered Saturday next week

 

A few alterations, new tail tidy, the hand rail and rear foot pegs to be removed and placed into storage, and change the white crash bungs to black,,,oh and a 8" X 6" plate just for show whilst not on the queens highway.

Should still be a stock item at Triumph.

 

I just got a new boxed one for my 2012 R on ebay for £20 less than main dealer, so worth checking there too.

When removing the grab rail you may need a new rear light surround,

 

Never understood why they swapped the battery cover from carbon to plastic on the R model after mine, price I suppose as the changed the front mudguard to carbon.

 

I can't decide which I like better, got the same frame sliders in black on mine.
You can order just the black nylon sliders from R&G for £25 per pair so no need to buy 2 new full kits.

I must of upset them, they have only given me 5%, I have ordered a shed load

 

Also the main components I wanted hugger battery/tank cover are unavailable just hope I don't have to wait long, I know other manufacturers are available but my thinking is if I order from a single manufacturer then they will match.
