Awesome photo. I too really like the tank grips. What make are they? Did you have to cut them or were they made for the bike?

Awesome. I just took possession of a black RS yesterday.

They are pre-cut for the Speed Triple from Tech-Spec. They are the 'snakeskin' version. I love them.

Another question for you, I see you have pads on the tank as well as the plastic piece. I can’t find that kit. All I see is a three piece kit for our bike, two side pads and one centre pad??

Came across this just now, it looks great and very different but its very expensive €699.

A company called bodis, never heard of them before.

If I were to do a lowboy it would be a small single not something that large.

Well Rspete, here's what I think.

It's good to see another option, given the limited choice we have at the moment. It is expensive (but still cheaper than the Austin Racing option).

I think the original format, comprising twin under-seat cans, suits the Speed the most but the alternative of ripping everything away to expose the rear wheel, hugger and suspension gubbins is the next best alternative.

For me, the Bodis blocks the view and looks too one-sided for my liking - a bit heavy looking.

SC project are still dragging their heels (just checked their website), but it's surely worth waiting to see what they offer.

In the meantime, my AR has settled in nicely - lovely sound (with baffle still fitted) and I'm almost definitely going to take the bike to Hilltop in the Spring to get a remap. Messing with the exhaust does cause a subtle 'disturbance in the force' that needs sorting.

Just been on phone to them, as wanted to know if its still worth doing with my full Arrow system and matching map.

If a small group of us want to go up together, would need to be about 4 max unless we get up there for about 8am, its an hour per bike and they do last one at 1pm.

Air filter, he said to stick with the standard filter element.

SAI, leave in place as software will change when it’s used.

Cat, either on or off, if you want to remove at a later date the system will learn and correct AFR.

O2 sensor, needs to be in place and working as software uses it.

I remember you saying you were interested - and that's useful information to help make a plan.

I was thinking of making the trip in March when the weather's hopefully better - it looks like a good 6 hour round trip from Essex. There are some great roads if you keep off the motorway.

My son will be having his MT-10 mapped too (he has an AR decat system).

I'll post again once we have an idea of when we're able to go - but let me know if you panic and have to get up there earlier :)

I’m in no rush, need rear shock serviced, spring change and set up first.
I was going to remove SAI and get a better filter first too, but that money can go to Hilltop software cost now.

Check the graph out at the end, nice torque increase for you RS boys below 5,000rpm!

Great clip Bryan - and doesn't it sound fantastic (on standard Arrow cans!).

Jeff at Hilltop advised that a better result could be achieved with the Arrows (including Lowboy) so it would be great to see how my AR does.

I'm definitely going to book in...and Spring is getting closer. I'll keep you posted :)

I'm curious to see how mine with Arrow Low Boy and Triumph map compares to an RS, as its a race system I hope its a race map too.
Posted a screen shot above of the dyno result.

Look at the massive hole after 8,500rpm too, and 15bhp gain!
