Got to spend out a lot first, I need new gear and new fecking tyres

 

I need luggage, and its not cheap. I thought about making my own frames, only you know how it goes, by the time you buy the tubing ,weld it, powder coat it, etc.

Im in two minds. The Ventura system for rear rack holds the kit right off the bike.

just the rack and rails is 200 quid.

The Givi side rails are 100 and seem like the hold the panniers off the bike too.

For luggage these dry bags look like the real deal thanks @andyc1 either panniers or a large bag.

Eilean Donan Castle.

 

probably one of the most photographed castles in Scotland,most people think it was built centuries ago,infact the rebuild was completed less than 80 years ago! before then almost nothing was left of the original castle

Eilean Donan means ‘Small castle islet’ so no need for an extra ‘castle’. A dun is a fortified place/castle. Given the Brexit brouhaha over Gibraltar you might think it ironic that Spain sent troops to the area in 1719 in support of the Jacobites and were comprehensively defeated by a mix of warships and redcoats before the castle was fully ‘slighted’ to render it useless as a base.

 

Well, it's called that, but hey, I'm Dutch... so you're saying it's like saying "Lake Windermere"?
