    Hi,

Can't make my mind up about the looks, is it too bulky looking? On the other hand, very comfortable although raises the seat height quite a bit.

    Cheers

Chalfont and seats in one post

Aesthetics off the bike are subtly different to appearances with a rider. Mildly bulky to my eyes but maybe because I associate tail humps with dropped bars.

However, comfort is by far and away the most important consideration. Let our women suffer for their fashion! A blokey bloke should not care as long as his Chalfonts are not screaming!

I like the seat but I don't think it is for the BOnnie. more a Thruxton seat in my mind.

Too bulky to my eye, these things are subjective though. If you like it then it's good, but the fact that you've questioned it......

Mmmm, don't know, maybe if I fitted a tail tidy. Just get drawn into spending more money, but the tinkering with it was one of the attractions in the 1st place.....

Thanks for all the replies, all opinions welcome.

It is comfortable, and that has got to count for a lot. If I go any real distance this is the bike I use. I'll see how I get on with it for a while, then think about a tail tidy or maybe getting it reshaped.

    Cheers

or, if you go any read distance how about the Airhawk cushion or Trophy SE.

Both, in my mind a great way to stay in the saddle.
