Hello to all the fellow Bonneville owners. I just bought a 2018 Speedmaster (I was smitten by the black and fusion white beauty) after a nice test ride a couple of weeks ago. I'm having a few minor mods done to it at the dealership right now - run/brake/turn rear turn signal lights, matching front turn signal light design, black dresser bars, and comfort rider seat. I expect to move to Texas USA soon where I'm hoping to ride practically year round. I'll be watching the forum closely for new mod and maintenance ideas in the coming months.

Welcome to the Family. Great choice of bike. You know the inmates here will want a picture when the steed comes home. They do like to drool over pictures while Nursey medicates them.

Thanks for the welcome. I forgot to mention that they're installing Motone Up and Over risers, too. That's thanks in great part to forums like this one. NUDGER is a good looking steed. I'll add my bike's photo as soon as possible. I haven't named her yet. It will have to be a classic British name, of course.

    welcome to Speedmaster ownership.
The new 1200 engine is mighty appealing may have a look in a few years when the 900 gets tired.

Welcome! Good choice as others have already said and modifications sound nice too.

Here's a pic of mine with modification. Removed pillion seat, fitted comfort seat, fly screen, flat handlebars with risers (1inch up and 1inch back) and also removed rear footrests. Very happy with results so far and wondering if the short stem indicators are worth the expense which I see you have decided to add. Any feedback why, do they change look sufficiently from standard to justify the cost?

Nice :) Is that the Motone risers? I have the straight bars too and was thinking of something like those, or the T120 bars, which I think would get the same effect for a similar price and with the benefit of chrome (which I think suits the rest of the bike).

For fly screen, I went for the Dart Marlin but found that whilst it does a great job of reducing wind blast and allowing cruising on high speed roads, the turbulence makes a lot of noise. Was wondering if the smaller Dart Classic screen would be better in that regard, or if I'll just be throwing good money after bad...

Your bike is a beauty! I hope mine will look that sharp. The dealership hasn't completed my mods yet. But I think I ordered the standard length front turn signals. They match in design the run-turn-brake rear signals. Of course, none of my mods justify the costs. But this will probably be the last bike that I ever buy, so what the heck.

Nice! Really nice looking exhaust system and mirrors. Which Dart flyscreen is that?
