Well, aside from the Speedy RS - a Chinese knock off Go-Pro, called a Geekam from Amazon; 4k, wifi etc etc, come with a waterproof housing and loads of Go-Pro compatible mounts. Video is very good and I've even taken it scuba diving to 26m, so I reckon the waterproof housing claim to 30 meters is good. As good as a Go-Pro for a 10th of the price.....https://www.amazon.co.uk/GeeKam-Wat...9M/?tag=bingshoppinga-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid={creative}&hvpos={adposition}&hvnetw=o&hvrand={random}&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl={devicemodel}&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583726541750649&psc=1 T-Bone
Cheers for the heads up, looking for one to stick on my race bike & don’t fancy writing off an expensive one in the event of a crash, if Santa doesn’t bring me one will invest in one of these.
My best purchase of this year has been all the petrol I put in the bike, what a summer, if we get half as much sun next year it still be ace. God save petrol.
My best purchase of the year was the Garmin gps I purchased off Crispey, which I’m more than pleased with
Rosie and Maggie and my missus passing her bike test a week ago. Vicki says she wouldn't but I do know the rs will go missing for a day or 2 once she gets use to the power hahaha
Thanks DD honest bud I was emotional when she told me, I was absolutely over the moon for her. It's gunna be great in the summer to go out with her.
Thats was my thoughts too. I have a scuba diving holiday in the Red Sea in few weeks....if the housing leaks it's cost me less than £40. Have also used it on the Speedy and when on a friend's jet ski. Tip - if videoing fast action, use the camera at 1080p and 60f/s - you are more likely to catch the action and you can use slow-motion in the editing if you want T
If you want to take it diving then don't forget to put silicon gel on the o rings and seals to stop it leaking under pressure
Christolube is the diving preference, Krytox is the aerospace preference but as long as it creates a waterproof seal I think either will work bud
Congrats to your missus on passing the test. Sorry to hear you’ve lost your bike. Must be the the first wife to have two as well as passing
Love my Speedy been long time coming. Managed to score some great preloved gear as well (leathers and a cool jacket) Wouldn’t believe what was on board for Xmas (rear bag), ham (backpack), cheese and meats (shopping bags swung off backpack clips)
After years of watching Triumph Scramblers roll by me on my much loved Nighthawk 750 a 2016 Scrambler for $4,500. Happy Trails bags, Mohawk Windscreen, Triumph Gel seat and a new chain ($1,200) later I'm loving my new daily rider. All for $5,700 - that's what I call the best purchase of my 54 years.
