All done. Fit in and no rub on full lock either way. But not sure when the suspension is compressed. Thinking of getting a 2"lift. £350 from the states, so I think I'll fabricate my own @dilligaf , You busy at work ? You can finish the towbar first.
No, but I believe he shits in the forest! Same as Dilli, why do you think he took those morning walks ???
I reckon I could make them Would take me a while though and ideally I would need a template or tech drawing A pattern part of each one would make life easier but if you’ve got them then you’re half way there
Nice one Andy. I'm going to do some drawings and a mock up made, but as soon as I do, I'll get them to you. If you can knock me some CAD drawings up, that would be brilliant. Could do a couple of wood ones , just to make sure they fit! Got a couple Lazer profilers in the town, so can get the two profiles cut, then get some tubing cut for the spacers between the plates.
CHAMPIONS !!! Admittedly it's just the Novice 12 Car Rally Championship, but we won again tonight. 4 wins and 2 seconds, plus you have to drop 2 of the 6 scores, means we got 40 points to second place 38 points. Plus we get lots of trophies come awards night, gotta love getting trophies. Plus I'm second place overall in the club's novice championship.
Thanks, and yes she does do the hard work. My job is to drive like a loony for 2 hours, not really hard work She gets to spend the time looking down, reading a map and trying to not get us lost. Plus last night she spent the last hour trying not to puke
Well done MrO and O Junior, she must be a brave lass to sit in that passenger seat! Everyone loves a winner (except the ones who finished 2nd with 38 points ) When can we expect the book and the TV series?
Now now Ron! Being a teacher you should know it’s not the winning but the taking part! I think you should take all your awards and share them out to the less fortunate participants who obviously came from broken homes or were bullied as children.
She doesn't want to! She too scared to drive like what we do, at night down singletrack lanes doing 60+ mph. We only had 3 'moments' last night !!! 1. Took off over a wee yump, landed sidey-ways, then bit of fishtailing down the road 2. HUGE watersplash (had a lot of rain last 2 days), couldn't see feck all for 2~3 seconds, with the wee mini floating into the verge 3. Downhill, lefthander, opposite camber outside a farm, mud all over, had to stick the NS wheel into the verge and slung it round!! Bloody good training ground to go rallying, this 12 car malarkey. (Think my misspent youth playing Colin McRae on the Playstation, came good for that one) Thinking of buying a cheap go-pro copy just to record the fun.
The filming would make for interesting viewing, just make sure the sound is on as we want to hear you scream!
Pah! What you want is a Sega Mega-drive and Alex Kidd or California games, them were the days, controllers were simple and had less buttons even an BERK like me could manage it ... when I try & play the latest consoles all I do crouch then die!
Got the latest Rally game on my PS4, it's same company as made Colin McRae, but kids don't know who he is now. Bloody difficult, actually too difficult. Not sure if I'm getting old and slow, or really just too hard. My RS200 is usually scrap by the end of a section
Loved Alex the Kid, did everyone finish the game to the end (took some long nights)? was disappointed when the kids gave the box away when they got PlayStation
