I always knew she was abused before i got her. The Engine is not as she should be . she sounds like a box of nuts and bolts .
After riding Lesleys 900 Adventure im conconvinced its cheaper to chuck in a new lump than to repair the old one
So i will fix her up as soon as i have finished work on the GTR .
Somthing to do during the winter :p

    Quite chuffed,
my old Sprint has just be advertised by the s/dealer, and is described as "stunning example must be seen" and the last one a 955i was "a very clean example"and " Evidently a well cared for bike"
Satisfying, if costly way to get an ego boost.

I kept thinking I should be stopping and taking photos of of these Distilleries, ( for our foreign whisky drinking friends), the thing is I dont like stopping for photos, so I kept moving, and took a photo of the bakers instead.
The road between Aberlour and Dufftown is a smasher ,or its maybe the bike, I was getting the feeling someone has been stealing all the corners, or straightening the road in,front of me.
    Triumph technicians I supposed.

Have you had the chance to check if the bike has been lowered yet, looking at the pics of the bike being washed it’s obvious the forks are way down in the yolks, I’d say at least 15mm?

As long as you’re happy with it mate that’s cool, a lot different to mine though.
Edit. Actually, now I’ve looked properly the forks have gone UP in the yolks. :)

08532855-24F1-4BA4-813E-5B1D8B064A61.jpeg Ok, I get that you haven’t moved them but here is a photo of mine for comparison.
See that line below the yolk, that is a 10mm gap. It used to be 5mm before I “lowered” the fork in the yolk. Looking at yours there is much more fork above the yolk leading me to suspect that someone has moved the fork UP through the yolk, I suspect to correct the ride height after a rear suspension lowering kit has been fitted.
Back to my drink now dilli :p
